Dream realized
Urs Denzler, CNC mechanic and CAM programmer, describes how he used his unpaid leave.
"After 45 years at work, I treated myself to some time off – a long journey, which was also a great personal adventure. In 166 days, I mastered the Pacific Crest Trail, which spans from the Mexican border in Campo to Manning Park at the Canadian border. An impressive distance of around 4000 kilometres – which equals a daily average of 30 kilometres and 1000 metres in altitude.
I greatly appreciate that Seitz made this extraordinary experience possible for me. I particularly appreciate that I was able to return to my job after six months of absence. This unforgettable experience greatly enriched me personally, and I am thankful of being part of a company that supports individual dreams such as my own."
